About Mark Davies

Hi, I’m Mark Davies. I am a husband and father of four children, speaking and presentation coach and an IT geek.

I was never someone who would naturally stand on stage as I always saw myself as shy and introverted. So whilst I may be introverted I am not so shy as I once was.

I love helping people to speak on stage and present better, having sat through too many sleepy presentations and pointless talks. I have organised 4 TEDx events in Chelmsford Essex, I’ve been to a TED event and met Chris Anderson, TED CEO and curator.

I have spoken on stage many times both for fun and professionally and have hosted and organised many many speaking events.

I have had lots of training from some of the greatest speakers but my first time on stage was not so great!

It was after that first time that I realised what it was that made speakers great, it was something the training had never really touched on and something I myself never considered.

So if you train with me the first thing I deal with is the one thing that makes the difference, whether you are presenting a slide deck in the office, a paid speech at an event, a TEDx talk or even doing stand up. There is one thing that you can learn that will change how you deliver it.

If you want to find out more or just get in touch to ask me anything then feel free to do so. The one thing I love more than anything is helping people so if I can help you in anyway then ask-away. mark @ speakonthespot.com (remove the spaces)
